What you’re buying
A Claude Skill — a folder of instructions you add to your own Claude account. Install it once, then say “help me build our strategy for next year” and Claude runs the session: asking the questions a good facilitator asks, holding you to the standard, pushing back when an answer is too comfortable, and saving your progress as you go.
No coding. No API key. No subscription to anything except Claude itself.
What you get out
•Your OGSM one-pager in four formats — HTML to share by link, Excel to track status month to month, PowerPoint to present, PDF to print and pin up. All generated from one file, so they never disagree with each other.
•A Strategy Workbook capturing the reasoning: the options you rejected and why, the trade-offs you accepted, the assumptions still to verify. Six months on, when someone asks why did we decide that?, the answer is written down.
•A cascade and communication pack — who hears what, how, when, and from whom.
•A validator script that checks any OGSM against the rules: counts, what-by-how form, missing owners, targets without baselines, activity metrics dressed up as outcomes, an empty “will not” list. Run it on a plan you wrote years ago, on its own.
Stop and come back
Progress is saved after every phase. Stop after any one, come back next week, hand the file back and carry on. Two to four hours of real work, and most people split it across two or three sittings — which is the point. A strategy built over four evenings beats one rushed in an afternoon.
Built on the method taught here
The same OGSM rules, quality bar and worked examples used across Rock Your Strategy, plus the Seven Cardinal Sins of Strategy. Two complete worked examples included — a B2B manufacturer on a five-year plan and a small restaurant on a one-year operating plan.
